FLU VACCINATIONS 2020 /2021
Protect yourself and others from flu. It is important to have the flu vaccination every year but with Covid it is even more important this year.
Please visit the NHS website for those eligible. We are sending letters for you to attend walk-through clinics (no drop-in clinic due to Covid restrictions). Please read the letter carefully and attend if possible at your allotted time maintaining social distancing. You will be met by a member of staff and guided through a socially distanced queue. Please wear a face covering or mask.
Starting now all patients aged over 65 years on 31 March 2021 and those aged under 65 years who are at risk due to a medical condition.
Late autumn from November those aged 50 years to 64 years plus cohabitants of people who were shielding for Covid will be offered vaccination. These vaccines will be distributed to us separately in November, further details will follow.

Please contact the surgery if you are a Carer as you will be eligible for a flu vaccine too. Please be patient phone lines are extremely busy.
Letters will be sent to those eligible. We will invite children aged 2 years and 3 years and those in at risk groups to attend the surgery. We invite parents to book an appointment for their child with the Practice Nurse. Please arrive only 5 minutes earlier than the appointment time, if possible with only the child being vaccinated. You will be called in by the Practice Nurse. Please maintain social distancing whilst waiting, adults and children aged 11 years and older must bring and wear a face covering or mask.
